Travel Indochina offer Burma tours in 2012
A leading Asia specialist, Travel Indochina, is expanding its destination range with the addition of two new small tour groups to the controversial country of Burma.
Travel Indochina will offer a total of 24 guaranteed departures on their new nine-day and 13-day tours to Burma, which will depart for the first time in January and will operate through 2012.
The new tours to Burma will vary greatly and travellers will be accompanied by a combination of western tour leaders and English-speaking local guides.
Both tours will run with a maximum of 16 travellers per trip, allowing visitors to the country a real sense of personalisation and plenty of opportunities for independent exploration.
The nine-day ‘Highlights of Burma’ itinerary will cover the highlights of Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake.
The tour will depart for the first time on 8 January 2012 with prices starting from £1,045 per person.
Travel Indochina’s slightly longer 13-day ‘Burma Revealed’ journey will include additional visits to the Pindaya Caves, Kalaw and a fascinating hilltribe trek in Intha and the Pak-oh villages.
The tour will depart for the first time on 16 January 2012 with prices starting from £1,340 per person.
Travel Indochina’s general manager, Chris Orme, comments: “We are delighted to offer our customers the chance to experience the magical wonders of Burma.”
